Hi, I am Qinghsi Wang! Initially from Inner Mongolia, China, I have been studying in the US since 2024 as a master student in Materials Science and Engineering at Cornell University. I am currently working with Professor Jingjie Yeo for Molecular Dynamics simulation of synthetic and natural polymers. I am actively seeking Ph.D. positions in Fall 2026.
My recent research focuses on molecular simulation on mechanical properties of soft materials influenced by chain entanglement. To achieve the target, I have managed to build polymer models at different levels of approximations and run simulations primarily in LAMMPS. My long-term goal is to combine molecular simulaitons with machine learning methods to predict properties of polymer materials and discover new performance of polymers.
